I received my B.Sc. Engg. degree (2nd position out of 69, CGPA 4.98/5.00), M.Sc. Engg. ( CGPA 3.88/4.00) and PhD (CGPA 4.00/4.00) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in 2008, 2011 and 2021 respectively. My PhD Thesis Examination Board included esteemed external members Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Awal (https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/members/abdulawalbd/) and Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbubur Rahman (https://mahbubur.buet.ac.bd/).I began my academic career as a Lecturer in the EEE Department at IUT in January 2009. In Fall 2011, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Broadband Communication Research Lab at McGill University, Canada, before returning to IUT as an Assistant Professor in 2012. I became an Associate Professor in 2022 and have been serving as a Professor since October 2024. My research on "Enhancing Cellular Throughput for 5G-Based Vehicle to Everything (V2X) Network" was awarded the IUT Research Seed Grant in 2022. I also coordinated the short course "Next-generation Cellular Communications: 5G and its Transition to 6G" in June 2022. Currently, 5 (five) M.Sc. Engg. students and 1(one) PhD student are working under my supervision; while 2 (two) of my M.Sc. Engg. students successfully defended their theses in 2025. In addition to my teaching and research roles, I have held several administrative positions, including in-charge of the Physics Lab (2019-2020), Assistant Provost of the Female Halls (2019-2023), and Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the EEE Department (since 2024). I currently serve as Deputy Head (Publication) at the Research, Extension, Advisory Services, and Publication (REASP) department and in-charge of the Telecom Lab.
